Today is St Mary of the Cross MacKillop Feast day.
Mary Mackillop (1842-1909) is renowned for her generous approach to all endeavours, a women of courage who worked tirelessly to ensure all children were educated , she especially looked out for the poor and those in need. UNESAP 2020 Art Prize Winners announcement

Last term we announced that Koen Swaysland (KM), Isla Schneider-Smith (2T) and Leyla-Jane Ahoy (5G) were finlaists out of 448 students artwork entries in the University of New England Student Acquisitive Art Prize 2020, Let's Hang it!
The winner announcement was made via video on the New England Regional Art Museum (NERAM) webpage on Friday 31st July. Extra enormous CONGRATULATIONS LEYLA-JANE for achieving RUNNER UP!!!
The online exhibition 'Let's Hang It' featuring the students work has now opened. Student's artworks will be able to be viewed on the site unitl 16th August 2020. A People’s Choice award will be running in conjunction with the exhibition. You can view the announcement, exhibition and vote for your favourites through this link.

Our first harvest!

With the return of the rain and the students, Garden Club has kicked off for another year. The members in our Year 6 Garden Club have worked hard clearing out old growth, weeding and planting new crops.
Our first harvest was this beautiful red radish that the members christened Lily!!
