St Joseph’s Primary School is a co-educational Catholic Primary School providing educational excellence for students from Kindergarten to Year 6. The school is a vibrant school community located on the Mid North Coast of New South Wales. Our school is an integral part of the faith community of the St Agnes’ Catholic Parish and is part of the Lismore Diocesan School system. Currently we have approximately 375 students enrolled in our school.

Our school’s values of: courage, humility and compassion build upon the charism of the Sisters of St Joseph’s who founded the first Catholic school in Port Macquarie in 1913. We are proud of our parish schools rich history. Our school motto of ‘One in Christ’ is lived out everyday through the actions of our students and staff. St Joseph’s Primary School enjoys a wonderful reputation within the wider community for providing outstanding education and excellence.

We are proud to say that St Joseph’s Primary School is a happy place in which children are immersed in a culture of continuous improvement, developing their individual talents and most importantly – their growth in faith, learning and wellbeing. It is a school in which children are able to fully realise their own potential and become responsible, happy and caring young people.
