Our Year 6 class has been spreading kindness by writing heartfelt letters to the Year 12 students who are about to sit their HSC exams. Our students offered words of encouragement, study tips and plenty of good luck, reminding the Year 12s that the whole school is cheering them on. Established in 1980, St Joseph’s is a strong and vibrant Catholic primary school. Joey’s celebrating the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, our Catholic Holy Day. This holy day commemorates Mary being taken into Heaven. We celebrated with a beautiful liturgy led by our Year 6 SRC and Senior Faith Choir.
Our students wowed us with their talents at our “Elements” Creative and Performing Arts Showcase at the Glasshouse. It was an inspiring evening that highlighted the incredible creativity and hard work of our students, teachers and community. We were delighted to see so many families come out to support and celebrate the arts with us.
Our school leadership team are engaging in evidenced-based activities to support K-2 teachers with enacting the new K-2 English syllabus.
